The 2009-2010 school year will mark our 10th year of teaching kindergarten together! We share a classroom but have our own students.  The great thing about team-teaching is that for the majority of the day there are two teachers in the classroom working with the students.  We support each other throughout the day and when we are not teaching, we share in the "prep" work!

Joanne is married with a son and twin daughters. Her days are filled with teaching, feeding, bathing, cleaning, laundry, . . .

Suzanne is married with her first precious baby girl. Her days are filled with much of the same and she is loving being a new mom!

We love working with kindergarten students! We feel the first year of school should be a time of wonder, excitement, fun and learning for the child as well as the family. Our goal is to give each child the tools he/she will need to be successful in a safe and nurturing school environment.  The balance between what is developmental and teaching the standards is difficult, but we do the best we can and are always looking for
the best teaching practices available.
